2020 TV?

i bought this tv as a replacement for my 60in vizio from 2016. the vizio still works great, but i wanted a 4k tv with a better refresh rate. with my vizio i could cast any streaming app from my phone to it...from netflix to crunchyroll, but with my newer samsung i can only cast netflix and youtube music. amazon prime, hulu, discovery+, while they're on smarthub, the tv will not show up on the cast menu. after 3 hours texting and talking to customer support from parts unknown, the conclusion they finally gave me...after 3 disconnects...was that well, those apps just don't support the model of tv. they don't what?! ok, cool, awesome...so the tv itself is pretty good, screen is clear and vivid, looks great. smarthub has ads...blah. wish i could take it back.

Always Too Dark, Software Problem

i am returning this tv, because it is almost unwatchable during the day. the screen is so dim that you can only make out rough details during dark scenes. i googled the problem, tried every single possible setting, and contacted customer support and nothing fixed it. finally, some service techs came and told me that it is a problem with the hdr feature when the content you are watching is in 4k. they said that there is no fix for it because samsung says it is a "feature". they showed me a movie that only had hd (not 4k) to show me the difference and it was very clear. apparently this has been reported to samsung, but they do nothing about it. why would i want a tv that has an inherent problem that makes the tv basically unwatchable that i know will never be fixed?

this tv is great! has a beautiful picture, was easy to hang, and has a usb port built right in allowing us want anything we want. the only reason i have not given it 5 starts is i don't like that you can't remove some of the apps the tv comes with that we don't use. i also was not able to add the starz app so i have to watch from the browser. the browser is hard to navigate with the remote and it's time consuming.

we absolutely love the clarity and colors on this tv, but navigating the software is extremely clunky! we had a roku tv and it was a walk in the park to navigate and when we needed to replace it we were drawn to the samsung because of what a beautiful and clear picture it had. the remote has got way too many buttons and they are all so close together that my husband is constantly pushing the wrong one because he has large man fingers. i have small fingers and i had a terrible time entering my password and email when trying to sign in to apps i already had. finding the apps was also a nightmare! if we had it to do over, we would probably buy another roku tv.

purchased a new 60" tv on a black friday sale, the tv worked great for 8 days, then the screen stopped working but still has the power light indicator, ans had volume for the channels we could not see. had to return to the store, and then pay full price for the tv because it was no longer on sale

went with samsung because its a popular suposedly high end brand, i dont notice that much of a better picture than cheaper brands. the set up was annoying, it recomended thag you use the app as the "easier set up" download and app, set up an account, then it still wasnt working right. the app itself is awful, opnly tv app i have seen thag doesnt open a keyboard when searching something. after set up the entire menus and changing sources is annoying, annoying menus stay on screen excessively long. biggest issue is being my bedroom tv you need to go through 4 sections of settings to find the sleep timer… really wish i hadnt disposed of the box as it would be being returned for sure.

the tu7000 is a great, feature rich tv. i bought this tv because it includes bluetooth. my hearing impairment requires that i use a headset while watching tv. the tu7000 allows the tv speakers and the bluetooth device to work simultaneously. also, the set will automatically connect with the headset if the headset is powered on before you power on the tv . . . nice!

We use our Samsung television for streaming from the internet as well as casting from our Samsung cellular phones. The visual as well as the hearing enhancement is perfect for my partner and I. The picture is so clear as well as the sound. I, myself is a hearing impaired individual. I absolutely love how easy it is to listen to music streaming from my choice of apps whilst doing my household chores. We also love being able to choose the apps of our choice whether it's music or movies and putting our most favorites in the order of our choice as well. I use this tv for leisure, to watch movies , TV shows ect... of course its used for video games . The first time it was used for gaming I couldn't over how clear the picture was , because of the clarity it mad the animation look so real, l the colors were amazing. Sound quality is also unreal, at times your not sure if certain sounds as thunder or sirens are coming from your TV or if they are actually happening in real life. I've never much cared about what brand or what TV I purchase but I am so happy I took my time and researched this time .

Bad product

I have had this product for a couple of weeks, and had trouble from the first day I started using it, The screen turns black often, tv drops internet connection many times in the day, the remote has a delayed response.! On top of all the very helpless calls i had to waste my time making to technical support line, who advised of turning off and on the router, ( one agent recommended doing that multiple times throughout the day bcz of the weather/ wind), i tried to explain to her that we have no wind plus we have another tv that we have had for 4 years and never dropped internet once ( in same house). Until i decided to return it back to Costco, then i had to take down off the wall, and now i have to repack and ship it back!! Not a good product, save your time and avoid it.

Great for movies and gaming.

It was time to replace my aging TV in the living room. I already had a 50" version of this model, and it has been fantastic. I ended up purchasing the the 65" of the same model. It's mainly used for movies and gaming. You get a lot of bang for your buck. The tv's profile is sleek. The picture quality is great. My kids love gaming on it. The TV speakers are good, but would recommend a soundbar if you want to get the best experience when watching movies. The smart features are great. I own multiple samsung appliances, and love how I receive updates through my TV that my dishwasher is done. This is one of the best smart tv's out there in its price range. I would highly recommend this tv.

This TV has a superb picture easy-to-use and setup is a breeze. Samsung plus TV with a abundance of free content preloaded. It's super simple to stream or cast. The menu is wonderful and have all of your streaming apps in one place.

I wish i could have this product a 5* but i won't just because of the...idk how you call it, but you can see bright-ish light coming out from the corners at night on a dark scenes. Besides that, and as i mentioned in the title, it's a good buy for the money. Hey, you get free Samsung live TV as well!

This product is easy to maneuver and to set up. Was really pleased with the picture and the weight of the tv. I highly suggest getting the crystal with the easy set up and picture this tv offers.

I use my TV for streaming and gaming mostly. The quality is just insane. The TV itself is very thin and sleek looking. Nothing bulky, just right. The fact that I tap the corner with my samsung phone, and it just switches from phone to TV is the best invention ever, and I use it very often. I also use my TV with Alexa and again no problem. I recommend this TV to anyone and everyone.
